AT&T U-verse now Offers Digital TV to South Florida

added by Michael on 31 Jul 2008

Arlene Satchell of the Sun-Sentinel reports that AT&T has turned on television service in parts of Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

The AT&T U-verse website describes the service as 100% digitally delivered television that can record up to 4 shows at one time, and has 41 HD channels (and growing).

TVOver.NET reports that TV, Broadband and Wireless services can all be combined on one bill.

Arlene Satchell describes the particulars:

The basic U-verse TV package, called U100, offers up to 100 channels and starts at $44 a month. It comes with one high-definition receiver and customers don't need any Internet service to subscribe. More advanced bundled packages, which require AT&T TV and high-speed Internet options, cost from $77 to $154 a month.

AT&T's bundled packages include Web and remote access to a digital-voice recorder for recording TV programs, and access through AT&T Online Photos to content on Flickr, a photo-sharing Web site.
