Facebook Privacy

Saturday, February 20, 2010: posted by Michael

There's a good article in The New York Times that discusses The 3 Facebook Settings Every User Should Check Now.  If you did not already know, Facebook changed their privacy rules back in December allowing greater public access to your Facebook profile.

The 3 Facebook settings that the NYT highlights are:

  1. Who Can See The Things You Share (Status Updates, Photo, Videos, etc.)
  2. Who Can See Your Personal Info
  3. What Google Can See - Keep Your Data Off the Search Engines

Jeff Elder, a Charlotte Networking blogger, also wrote an informative post on how to control your privacy information on Facebook that's worth the time to read.
